USA Placement Program

DEVELOP YOUR PROFESSIONAL SKILLS IN THE USA

 

International Services offers young professionals an exclusive opportunity to spend 12 months in the United States through a J-1 internship in a prestigious hotel or restaurant.

This immersive program will allow you to gain valuable hands-on experience, develop your English skills, and discover American culture from within!

 

The Intern/Trainee program is designed to combine professional growth with cultural exchange, giving you the chance to learn from the best in hospitality while sharing your own traditions.

 

By working alongside renowned hospitality brands, you will learn U.S. standards, techniques, and expertise while enriching the workplace with your own international perspective.

AVAILABLE POSITIONS 

 

  • Kitchen - Back of the house

Commis, Demi Chef de Partie, Chef de Partie, Pastry Cook

 

  • Service -  Front of the house

Host/Hostess, Waiter/Waitress 

 

  • Bar

Barman/Barmaid, Bartender

 

  • Guest Service

Reservation, Front Desk, Guest service

 

ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS

 To apply to this program you must: 

 

  • Be between 18 and 32 (for the J1 visa) 
  • Have a valid passport
  • Be available for 6 or 12 months 
  • Be comfortable speaking English 

 

To be eligible for a J1 visa, you MUST fill one of the following situations: 

 

  • Be a current student of a post-graduate diploma in Hospitality  

OR

  • Be graduated from a post-graduate diploma in Hospitality for less than 1 year 

OR

  • Be graduated from a post-graduate diploma in Hospitality for more than 1 year + have 1 year of experience in the field of your application (work certificates required)

OR

  • Justify 5 years of experience in the field of your application (work certificates required)

As a non resident of the United States, you will be eligible for a tax refund at the end of your program, you will be connected to our partner Taxback, they will assist with the American Authorities.
